BASIC LAW'S OF ELECTRICITY

Law's of electricity:

  1. Law of Resistance
  2. Law of conductance
  3. Ohm's law
  4. Open circuit
  5. Short circuit
  6. Kirchhoff's law
  • Kirchhoff's current law
  •  Kirchhoff's voltage law
 7.Law of Electromagnetic induction
  • Faraday's law of electro magnetic induction
  • Lenz's law of Electro magnetic induction
 8.Flemings rules.

  • Right hand rule
  •  Left hand rule
 9.Current Division
10.Voltage division
                    There are still some laws but 1st lets complete all these 10 laws...out of these 10...we have already seen law of resistance,conductance and ohm's law and now coming to open circuit and short circuit

Open circuit:

A circuit is said to be open circuited when the terminals which are parallel to its voltage source,are not connected to each other or in other word the terminals are left open.In this case the current flowing through the circuit is zero as the terminals are open and Resistance of the circuit is infinity
                  I=0
                  R=infinity

Short circuit:

A circuit is said to be short circuited when the terminals which are in parallel to its voltage source are connected or closed.In this case the Resistance of the circuit is zero and the current in the circuit is infinite as the terminals are closed.
                  I=infinity
                 R=0
                       But the value of current is limited to the current supplied by the source.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CAPACITOR AND INDUCTOR ?

Do you know this???? We know that a capacitor is more or less a battery which store energy and coming to an inductor it is also a device which stores the energy but what's the difference??????? Come lets know... CAPACITOR is a device which stores only electrical energy in the form of POTENTIAL ENERGY. And, INDUCTOR is a device which stores Magnetic energy in the form of KINETIC ENERGY.
